Throwdown Thursday – Anger Management

Ben Grimm and Bruce Banner both got the short end of the superhero stick. Ben Grimm will never lead a normal life, forever doomed to the life of an orange igneous rock creature. Bruce Banner is no better, daring not to go outside for fear of receiving a parking ticket and knocking a meter maid across three city blocks as The Hulk. Both having their powers fueled by anger, who do you, the community, choose as THE most rage in the cage?

Well, I’d have to say that the Hulk would come out on top on this one.
Sure both guys are angry, but they don’t operate with rage the same way. Hulk is like a car that runs on rage as fuel, and Bruce Banner has a slew of issues that ensure that rage keeps on comin’.
I can picture it now, The Hulk tossing The Thing like it was a giant rock and then jumping 100′s of feet into the air, then landing on The Thing destroying it there on the spot.
Although similar characters, the Hulk is leaps and bounds (puns intended?) above the Thing. The Hulk, although not seen in the public eye this way, is Marvel’s equivalent to Superman. He may not have the flashy powers or abilities as Mr. Kent, but he’s virtually indestructible. Combine that with unmatched strength, and he’ll just pummel the Thing (or anyone else for that matter) in a test of endurance.
Effectively, he’s like Homer in a boxing ring, except he can actually punch back.
The Thing is just a man made of rock. He still acts and functions (mentally) like a sane human being. The Hulk is, for the most part, just plain inhuman rage. Hulk wins.
The Hulk. He ANNIHILATES him in World War Hulk.
