Although the movie basically went straight to the bargain bin upon dvd release, Boondock Saints somehow developed a rather fierce cult following. Mixing Tarantino-like editing with smartass humor, the Irish hitman brothers earned their way to a sequel. Much of the cast and crew is returning (which is surprising since at least one character who is coming back died during the first go around).
Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day hits theaters this October 30th.

For real?! A sequel to the Boondock Saints?! The thought never even crossed my mind!
I really shouldn’t be surprised. It seems everything is getting sequels or prequels nowadays.
I really don’t know what to say about this except I look forward to seeing it. I hope it’s as good as the first one.
I wasn’t really a big fan of the first one soooo chances are, I won’t be of this one.
