New Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl Trailer

Seemingly running in the shadow of next summer’s Iron Man 2, there are a few comic book movie adaptations that aren’t that well-known (or even heard of, for that matter).  Matthew Vaughn’s version of Mark Millar’s Kick-Ass is one of said films.  Besides some great buzz from the graphic footage shown during this year’s Comic-Con, generally no mainstream media has been revealed except for some posters.

Now, we’re getting a good stream of video, most recently a character trailer for Hit-Girl, a prepubescent storm of killing potential.  Millar’s books are conceptually a “What if?” scenario where an everyday high schooler dresses up, calls himself Kick-Ass, and tries to be a superhero (think Batman without money, gadgetry, or basically any sort of fighting skills).  Hit-Girl, on the other hand, is definitely a person he wants on his side.  You’ll see why.

Here are the character trailer (I can’t stress the NSFW enough) and some older clips.

The first official teaser trailer:

A scene clip showing a training session between Hit-Girl and her father, Big Daddy (proving in my eyes that Nic Cage may actually be able to act).
