From Mountain Dew’s Game Fuel to custom bottled “Mana Potions“, beverage manufacturers seem to be under the impression that “fuel” is something that we are in great need of and/or will pay through our ears for. It is along these lines that beloved soda company Jones has released a very classy pentumvirate of Magic: the Gathering-themed drinks. Each flavor in the set is themed around a type of mana; from Purifying Fire to Beast Brew. At $18.99 USD a set, these might not fall below the “impulse buy” margin, but for a collector and enthusiast the price will surely be nominal.

Not certain what to think, other than that the Necromancer’s Potion looks like it would have all the flavor and body of a month-old corpse sitting in a tin-roofed shed in Florida during the summer.
Why can’t they just make soda? I don’t really care what label is on the bottle I’m pouring into a glass, I just want to be able to drink it without damning my soul to an eternity of “Purifying Fire”. Sounds like an STD.
I would really like to order these but the shipping and handling is almost as much as the sodas!
Also I can only hope that these sodas taste better then Jones’ take on Christmas themed soda…
Nothing compares to Tentacle Grape.
