You may have seen the Bayonetta trailers from earlier this year, but they simply do not stack up to the amount of information and awesomeness contained within the new TGS trailer. Enjoy the 3:19 of hot witch.
Exactly as the title says. Hopefully, this will tide you over until November.
I was never really a fan of the Splinter Cell series until I saw the video of Splinter Cell: Conviction from E3. It was never revealed at E3 when the game would be coming out. Well, now we shall all know thanks to the new trailer Ubisoft showed at TGS. Included in the video are some scenes of Fisher taking down bad guys, my personal favorite being him shooting someone in the hand.
Tokyo Game Show is happening this week! To kick off TGS, Sony had a mini-press conference and showed off a Team Ico retrospective followed up with some new Last Guardian footage during it.
The next Final Fantasy MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, got its own brand new trailer for Tokyo Game Show. Compared to the first FFXIV trailer, this one seems to show more detail on what to expect. I’m glad to see that all the races from FFXI are present in the trailer in action. Also, if the graphics are what they show in the trailer for the bad guys, FFXIV will truly be a badass MMO to play. Now, I only hope I can get into the beta, about which they post info at the end of the trailer.
The Xbox 360 is not the only console with a recent special game edition console now. At Tokyo Game Show Final Fantasy XIII developer Yoshinori Kitase revealed a FFXIII-theme limited edition of the PS3.
The FFXIII PS3 will include all the regular bells and whistles that come with the new PS3 slim but will also have a 250 GB hard drive, a white Dualshock 3, and an awesome pink “Lightning” theme. It will be available for purchase December 17th (unfortunately so far only in Japan).
Yoshito Usui was found dead at the foot of a cliff near the Gunma prefecture’s Mount Arafune. He was a 51 years young.
Usui was most famous for creating the manga Crayon Shin-chan, a weekly serial published in Weekly Manga Action. First debuting in 1990, the series follows the comedic adventures of five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara and his family, friends and neighbors. The manga and its 1992 anime adaptation have been regarded by some as Japan’s equivalent to The Simpsons, and is popular worldwide, aired in Spain, the US, Indonesia, Korea, the Philippines, Poland, Vietnam and other countries.
At the moment it is not clear what will happen to the future of the series. Hopefully it will continue on in some fashion. Even so I will surely miss Usui’s work.
Ever wish you could be a high school student in Japan? Ever wish you could kick your fellow students’ asses? Well, Atlus is about to give you the opportunity to do both in their upcoming game Kenka Bancho Badass Rumble for the PSP. In preparation for its November 10th release, Atlus has released a trailer of how to be “Bancho”, which I find kinda funny and definitely piques my interest in this game.
It looks like Microsoft will be joining Mad Catz with the announcement of a MW2 themed Xbox 360. The Xbox will have a 250 gigabyte hard drive, 2 wireless controllers, a regular copy of Modern Warfare 2, and a special paint job, all for $399.99. Personally, I would totally buy this bundle if I did not already have an elite. You may be wondering, as I was, if you’ll be able to buy the 250 gigabyte hard drive separately.
Microsoft’s Larry Hryb has confirmed that Microsoft has no plans on selling the 250 gigabyte hard drive by itself. What a pity; however, I have feeling though that will change some day.

That’s right. 30 oh-so-cheap dollars for Windows 7; well, at least if you are an American college kid. If you are a student in an American university and have a .edu email, you are eligible. So even those that just graduated and still have their email addresses can probably pick this up. The box only shows Premium, but you will also be able to pick Pro, if you want [Note: you need to click the link by “Need to join your school’s network domain?” when selecting your version to get professional]. Microsoft has already started running the program and will continue it until January 3rd next year. With a savings of $90 off the original price, I for one will definitely be utilizing this sale. Anyone else going to be picking this up on the cheap?
